It depends how much is missing.Any welding starts at about 100$ there is a product called Skeg Guard which mounts right over your broken skeg.It is a little over $100 and easy to mount.Try a search on Skeg Guard.It seems to be the way to go. Charlie
ROMAN <br /><br />get a couple of pieces of thin stainless steel plating, cut them to size,drill 2 holes through your skeg and bolt them on with s/s bolts. <br />Cheap and it works.
that works but ouch if you hit another rock here in fl rocks are all over. i would get it welded if it was mine.ss props are scary here too because there is no give after you hit a rock there is an oil slick behind your boat
