Hello, sorry but I don't know about ski pylons. But I wanted to tell you that your english is fine. We're not too picky about proper sentence structure and such, just so long as we can understand what you are writing. Your english is better than many that use this site.

It may be a little slow on this web
site today, as we are on national
holiday today (Thanksgiving Day).
But be patient and someone will have an answer for you.

Roscoe, that's an excellent point. It is sad that people that use English as their 2nd, 3rd, even 4th language can produce better grammar and sentence structure than Americans that have been using it everyday for their entire life. But that's another topic...
Anyways, if you're going to be wakeboarding and want to get some "air", a 5 to 6 ft. (about 2 meters) pylon that mounts to the floor is good. If you want a standard ski pylon, with the 3 point attachment (check out www.overtons.com, under watersports > pylons), most of those adjust between 30 inches to 55 inches or so. Usually the top of the pylon extends about a foot or so over the top of the outboard motor. If you could make something adjustable, that would be best. Otherwise have it a foot to 18 inches over the top of the outboard.
Hope everyone's having a happy Thanksgiving! Can't wait for turkey time...
