Slack in prop shaft 1999 Johnson 50 hp

Normal.------Easy to understand if you had the clutch dog and gears in your hands.

I have a 1999 Johnson 50 hp. When I manually ROTATE the prop shaft, there is an approximate 1/8 of a turn slack in the prop shaft. Is this acceptable or am I headed for trouble? Thanks.

Did you not ask this question somewhere else ??-----Totally normal.----If you had the parts in your hands you would see that it is normal.
