Hi everyone,

I'm working on wiring in an electric fuel pump on a boat that did not have one previously.

The replacement engine is a 5.7 Mercruiser.

While that is it's own job - as part of that task, I'm having an issue on where to mount the bracket that houses the slave solenoid / 50 amp circuit breaker. The bracket is kind of an L-shaped bracket, and as I took it off the old engine (a 5.0 Mercrusier), I just cannot remember where it was placed (my mistake).

Please see pics attached for reference.

Same issue for the 10 pin connector, that is part of the same wiring loom (again, pics attached for reference).

Can anyone share some pics or ideas on where they usually go?

The old engine was a carb-fed engine. The replacement engine is also a carb-fed engine.

Any help is appreciated!

10 pin is on the rear of the block and normally gets held in place by the bell housing bolts

Very simple job, using a cube relay will help protect the oil pressure switch from failure
