I Damaged the prop when pulling the boat out of the water for the first time this season, (Will not forget that again). So now I have a slightly damaged 14X19 prop on the boat.

I know the prop is extremely important and even before the recent damage I did not like the shape this one was in. When I got the boat the previous owner gave me a New spare prop Aluminum Michigan 14 ? X 21, # 011009. He never put it on because he was unsure if it would work on this boat.

I have done some research and still unsure if this spare will work and if so what type of change would I expect with the 14 ? X 21 prop on instead of the 14X19?

What I have?..ESSENTIAL DATA REQUIRED

1) Performance issue you are trying to correct.
Performance was fine could have used a little more hole shot I occasionally ski
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless and as a minimum.
Slightly damaged Michigan wheel Aluminum, possible model # 031025
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required).
14X19
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful)
max 4600 rpm, I cruse some where around 4000
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP
Mercury/Alpha One 3.7L (Hey its running great now, no complaints)
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight
Monte Carlo by EBKO, 1990, 19ft, around 2500 lbs

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tim

If it fits, it'll work, but you'll lose some hole shot and 2-300 rpm at the top end.
It won't damage anything if that's what you're worried about.
