Keeper has put on some pounds, but being in the giant breed that is normal. Newfy/Lab mix and just over 3 now. He is about 160lbs.

My house has oak flooring and he doesn't do to well trying to run and does very poor on stopping. Usually the wall, table, and door will stop him, chairs won't. He has destroyed 2 of 6 oak chairs.

I was noticing that when he is sitting, he constantly is doing his best to keep his front legs from sliding out from under him. Now I know why he prefers to lay down.

My question, Is there any product that I can apply to the pads of his feet to give him some traction? BTW his nails are trimmed and that is not the problem. The floors are just too slippery for him to get good traction/friction. Any Ideas? Thanks......SS
