i have a 1994 40 hp 4 cyl Mariner (sn unknown). we have rebuilt carbs, have new fuel tanks, all new lines & fittings, starts easy, idles ok. When giving full throttle, it takes from 15 secs to 2-3 minutes to reach full rpms. seems after full rpms, you hear one cylinder cutting out (3-4 cylinder momentarily) after putting new plugs in. also replaced gaskets under powerhead but noticed exhaust and water coming out bottom front. compression (with plugs removed) is 118-110-110-110.
