Looking good. Do you have the doorway filled yet? How about interior insulation? I know we are all in climates that are getting cooler. Hows the inside work comimg?

Bob

Re: Slow but steady getting project done

That with the tarp over it is actually a window I cut out to door size while I work. I have not cut into the house yet for the entry into the addition. I will have to move my bathroom before I do that, converting my daughters bedroom into the bathroom, moving 2 interior walls in the old house, and taking out 2 walls. Can't do that til I have a bedroom finished for my daughter. Haven't started on the inside yet, but I am going to insulate the exterior walls good, the interior walls for soundproofing, and the upstairs floor for soundproofing. The roof and upstairs ceiling will both be insulated. Can't have too much of that, it is the only part of a building that will save money.

Insulation next, then electrical heating and air, and plumbing for the bathroom upstairs I will build then sheetrock. Maybe done by summer depending on finances.

Trying to convince the wife to go back to the old pink siding but she doesn't really want to.

Huge project for a do-it-yourselfer, braver guy than me. Looks like ya have a good handle it, keep us posted. BTW don't you run the rough pluming and elec. before ya insulate? Just asking.

The plumbing will be a half bath above the existing house. The plumbing will run down through an interior wall that I will be moving.
