I have a 72 40 hp merc, gas leaks around the throttle plate shaft. it drips very
slowly off the shaft. I have had the carb off and cleaned it all, it only leaks
a little bit after it is ran. should it idle with the idle lever all the way down.
also my i am replacing the impeller, i removed it and all the fins are gone i
got most of the junk out, will it be ok to run with just installing new impeller and gaskets.
