I have a jack to adjust the height of my motor. Is there a standard of where the prop should be relative to the bottom of the boat. :rolleyes:

From what I have read, the anti-ventalation plate (anti-cavitation plate)should be aprox. even with the bottom of the transome, to an inch above the bottom as a starting point.<br /> Also, different hull designs call for different setups>>>but thats a starting point.<br /> :cool:

Try posting what your engine, prop, and boat are. <br />What is your current setup like, and what are your wide open throttle RPM's ??? <br />This will help the resident experts help you finetune your setup!
