I have a fiberglass hull that is showing some signs of wear. The most significant issue I have is a small crack that has opened up on the transom. I should have a picture, but don't. It is not actually the transom cracking but runs along, parallel to the transom right on the space for the outboard. Sorry I don't know the correct terminology to describe this more accurately. Basically I am after thee best product to try and seal this crack up. let me know if you guys have a particular favorite.

cheers

Re: Small crack

Welcome to iBoats!
If your transom is cracking it is probably due to a weakened inner core and you need to investigate further. A quick patch is NOT going to solve the issue. Do a search here on the forum for Bad Transom etc.. and you will see what I am talking about. My signature line has a link on how to post pics. We really need to see what you're dealing with if you want us to be able to properly diagnose the issue.

Yes..you should .. for correct information ..

Or you can just uncap it..replace the deck/trans/stringers and complete resto without them :) ..
