Small Flywheel Tool

Got a flywheel tool from OEM. Nice, works great but is too large for the small engines, 8 hp.
What are you using to hold the flywheels on the smaller engines?

do you mean hold... as in while you unscrew the top bolt ??

I use a small 1/4 inch impact screw driver / socket to remove bolts on 3-10 hp engines and they work great . no need to "hold" the flywheel

If you don’t have access to the impact driver make a strap wrench from an old belt or webbing from a hold down strap and a pice of wood.
