Small inline exhaust resonator?

Not sure what section this would go under...

Anyone know of a very small inline exhaust resonator that could be welded in? I'm looking to quite down my jetski a little which has a rear exhaust. Removing the rear exhaust is not really an option for number of reasons.

So, I'm looking for something in the 10-12" inch range in length that I could have welded into the existing aluminum piping. I see Vibrant 12903 aluminum resonator but not sure if that can handle wet application.

Ahh why did you guys move my post here. This is not really a jetski related question and more general wet exhaust resonator stuff, it won't get any useful eyeballs here.

You're questioning our members ability to see your thread where it belongs.

Do you want 10-12 inches of pipe sticking out the back of your unknown ski?

Have you ever heard of a resonator on a boat? Mufflers yes, resonators no. Certainly not on skis. It's hard to make recommendations without knowing what ski.

Yes I believe moving this post here was not correct, it was a general exhaust question, I should not have mentioned it's for a jetski.

I'm looking for a short 10-12" inline resonator that can handle wet applications like the aluminum Vibrant 12903 which is most likely for road cars.

Not sue if something like that exists or if it would actually reduce noise in a wet exhaust.

Ayuh,..... Generally speakin', boats muffle the exhaust by dumping it underwater, not with mufflers, or resonators,....

Where will that muffler fit in the ski?
There's space inside the hull for the size I mentioned.

Do those inserts I see around like cones with holes in them do anything? I'd be happy with even couple dB drop.

Why won't you tell us what ski?
Buy some ear plugs.

Jetskis already have noise reduction systems. That's why they are naturally quiet. For example, SeaDoo's patented system is called D-Sea-Bel.

If you have a noisy jet boat / ski I suspect something is broken / cracked or missing. Fixing the OEM would probably work better than rube goldberg.
