I found a shop that will let me try a 26p laser 2 prop on my boat but the problem is that it is a small tube propeller... The back of the property is smaller in diameter than a normal prop and doesn't have the lip to fit in my outdrive and make a smothered transition to the property of instead there will be a vertical gap between the property and out drive.

Will this be a problem?

You may want to shut of your word helper or spell checker or do a little proof reading.
Sounds like the "property" is intended for an outboard. If its a loan give it a try just be sure it doesn't rub anywhere.

If we don't have hub issues, you can still run the prop. The question is if the exhaust is too disruptive. People do run High-Po props like that, because the prop is so efficient, the nuisance of the exhaust wash around the hub is worth it. The gains outgun the minor loss.
