Here's my story:
After much research, I decided to purchase smart tabs SX 60lb composite for my 18 ft cc wellcraft fisherman boat.
When they arrived, I decided to do a dry fit on the rear transom and discovered that there were some curvatures on the transom and some space issues that prevented them form mounting in the suggested location. A quick call to Nauticus customer service along with an email containing pictures of my boat solved that problem in a few hours. A customer service rep reviewed the pics and marked them up with exact location as to where to mount the tabs. I was impressed.
Before drilling the first holes, it occurs to me that the new position of the tabs might interfere with the fork lift that raises / lowers my boat from / to rack storage. Once again Nauticus had a solution for this, they make a pr5200 mounting hinge that allows for smart tab retraction. The sent them out next day air and I was in business, or so I thought. (note overnight was a bit pricey but hey that's life.)
The only hiccup I encountered was that the sealed hardware bag that came with the PR5200 was missing a couple of critical parts, I suspect human error and while it was irritating, once again Nauticus delivered by overnighting the missing parts and appologies all around.
The tabs are now fully operational and I can report that they work as advertised. I have every confidence that they will serve me well in the future and I am also confident that I can rely on John and his group at Nauticus to continue with their outstanding service after the sale.
