Smokercraft Ultra 172 or Crestliner Superhawk 1700

I am looking at purchasing one of these two boats. Can anyone offer up their opinion on which would be the better of the two? I am a small lake person so don't ever get onto big water and big waves. Boat will be used for fish and ski applications. I appreciate your opinions.

The Crestiliner is the better boat. Smokercraft is an entry level boat built of very thin Aluminum. Just rap your knuckles on the sides of the two hulls if you need further convincing. If you're buying new take a look at the Jetcraft Falcon. I just downsized to a 16' because I'm getting older and it's easier to handle. I'm calling it the last boat I'll ever own, (that's probably a lie). These are heavy alumium boats and definitely a dress it your way boat. Mine is sweet.

At least think about it before you buy a production boat.
