From what I've heard on the news, they did warn him about the flamability of the gel on several occasions, they even gave him a pamphlet on what not to do when having this treatment, the first line of which was DON'T SMOKE.<br /><br />This guy only had himself to blame.

Ok...let's see.<br /><br />No smoking in the hospital.<br />He was smoking on the fire escape.<br /><br />He was given verbal directions about the flamable gel. Also, in writing.<br /><br />If I were on a jury I'd laugh my *** off at the dude.

It's been four years and two weeks. I still get the urge especially in a bar. Oh...quit drinking too. Don't miss that though. It took a three month hospital stay and when I woke up I was not physically addicted to anything. lol What a way to quit.<br /><br />I could never fault anyone for doing something I would still be doing if it hadn't been for that cerebral aneurysm.
