SMOKY MERC 85HP

I have a 1979 85hp Merc that smokes a bit more that I think is normal. I use a 50:1 mix <br />"16 oz Quick Silver" in a 6gal fuel take. Any info on what could be making this engine smoke I have good performance but I'm not sure what to check first to resolve the problem. Coupla things,Joe. First off, two strokes smoke, period. How do you run the engine? WFO? Cruise? Troll? A lot of slow running causes plugs and pistons to load up with oil and smoke. Are you using factory recommended plugs? What do they look like? How long since they were replaced?<br />Check some of this stuff out and lettus know what ya found.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
