I have an old but well maintained 1991 Celebrity Bow Rider. The original snap on cover is finally too warn to be useful. Does anyone know where I can order / buy one. I already purchased a new strap on cover for storage off season, but I would like to have a snap on type to keep the boat dry while using the boat on vacation. Will I need to commission someone to make it?
I am pretty new to boating. I found a lot of cover options on the internet, but none that would snap on the bow and the sitting areas of the boat.

This is a good opportunity to go local and find a good canvas shop nearby. Look for ones that do large truck dirt hauler covers and such, they will also do boats and RV stuff usually. With your old one as the template and if you are able to leave the boat with them for a day or so while they final fit, you should end up with a good cover. They will have all the hardware, and should be able to assess what snap ends need to be replaced for a solid connection. Look into sewn in vents that a support pole inserts into, and make a tent so to speak. I know it is extra material, but works well to keep water from pooling. I also use a good strap on cover over my snapon canvas one, for seasonal storage.

Good luck!

on a 28 year old boat, your going to have to find the local canvas guy like Maclin stated.

As both Mac and Scott said, your only option on that boat is to have one made, it is rare that you will find an OEM and if you did, it is probably going to be dry rotted as well, don't cost to much to have a cover made.
