Other's with way more experience than me will chime in soon, heed their opinions, a lot of these guys know what they are talkin 'bout.
Nice lines, but make sure of what you are getting...if possible, and if you are 100% serious, SPLASH it!, run it, test it out, then if alls well, buy and enjoy...
There was a thread somewhere, my arthritic brain can't remember where, that gives some good information on what to look for when buying a boat...
Or else, buy it anyway and you can start your restoration, here at the Iboats Dry Dock...

If I had not been on the iboats forums for the last 96 hours or so, I might have missed the humor in that, but, alas, I have been, so......Hell, I even laughed myself to tears over the tinny vs. fiber video....Three days ago I would have thought is was retarded! Damn Newbies!

So..., It's been all of 10 days sense I joined this site. I already know more about boats, restoration of boats, the difference between 'tinnys', and the 'Floating OSHA Hazzards', than i could have learned in years of trial and error. I just wanted to thank everyone for this incredible wealth of free information! You guys kick a**!

One Minor Problem though....my wife can't decide which is the greater evil, this site, or the boat.....
Is there a thread on this subject? HA HA!

Not yet Oops, The owner keeps dropping the price about a hundred bucks every week or so....down to 1500 now, so I'm trying to be patient! Should be down to 12/13 hundred soon......then I shall strike! Need all the money savings I can get for future Haz-mat suit purchases! Got a feeling I may need it!

its true about waving cash in front of thier face. especially since its almost the holidays that guys wife is probably buggin him to buy gifts or remodel the bathroom.. take 1200 with you, wave 900 in front of his face and if he hesitates for a minute than you know he is intruiged, in that case whip out another bill and say i will get it off your hands this second for 1000. he would probably do it . i bargained my boat from 175 to 50 bucks the guys wife was like Just Get it out of here! so he took the 50. good luck and welcome to iboats
