The Hustler is said to perform close to a stainless. Hustler is by Turning Point.
Solas is the brand and Amita a entry level model. The Amita has a good reputation.
A Solas Rubex is an Amita with a removable hub. What is your setup?
Your final size would depend on your present prop and your lightly loaded wot rpm and gps speed.
When going from 3 to 4 blades it is usually suggested to drop an inch of pitch this also depends
on your present numbers.
The Hustler 3 blade is suggested to decrease 1" even if a 3 blade to a 3 blade.

Thanks for the info steelspike.Iknow exactly the pitch I need or want .I already have a 4 blade amita (17p) but its a few hundred rpm shy of what I want.It is an excellent prop though .I call it my economaster prop but a 15 p would be perfect all around and would put me right at 6000 rpm on my 60 etec on my 160 ss starcraft battle wagon.Normally carry 20 to 25 gallons imperial for safety reasons as I go a min of 27 miles one way to camp plus fishing and visiting so it adds up to a lot of miles.Always come back with lots of gas but still feel better with lots as you never know I might have to stay longer or maybe somebody else might run short and im always willing to help out a person especially up in the middle of nowheres where you might not see another boat for days or weeks even sometimes.Zero cell service either which is fine by me though we do have a radio phone for emergencies.maybe I will try the hustler .The only thing I didn't like last time I ordered a prop from iboats was I didn't get a receipt with the box and lucky for me the guy at the border was cool and not a jerk about it.Again thanks ,I have a while to ponder on it as its still way to early for fishing yet.P.S. I bought the amita when I had a 90 evinrude and its served me well for years and could easily sell it as its still mint.

The Hustler 3 blade is suggested to decrease 1" even if a 3 blade to a 3 blade.

The reason is that the Turning Point (brand) Hustler is cupped which acts like an extra inch of pitch at the higher rpms. Hustler is also made out of a very dense cast alum, and has a high rake (blades bent back from the root) which helps to get the bow up and out of the water which increases your speed and engine rpms for a given setup to name a couple of amenities. Only difference between it and a high performance stainless prop is the material......their words, not mine. I can't comment on the Solas props as I never saw, nor owned one.
