Solas prop #8611-148-17 for Volvo Penta 5.7 and SX outdrive

Just tried to replace a Solas prop # 9511-148-17 with a new Solas #8611-148-17, the new prop has a shorter hub than the old one which is two piece. Still have splines showing. Is there a spacer and/or thrust washer that I'm missing? I'm unable to find any reference.

Yes to both questions, there is a spacer/thrust washer that goes on before the prop and a spacer with splines that goes on after the prop. Why not just get another Rubex prop that uses the hub setup?
