We bought a new (to us) cabin cruiser about six weeks ago and decided to sell the 1986 Sea Ray to make up for a portion of the cost of the new boat. This was the first vehicle I have ever been sad to see go. Thanks to all of you here and in the engine repair section, she looked and ran perfect. I sold her in one day on Craigslist for above asking price to the first person that came to see her. I was asking $3650 and he returned with an envelope with $3650 plus a bunch of gift cards -- I guess he was happy with the deal. The best part is that she went to a young family (kids 1 , 4, and 6 years old) very similar to my family when we started boating. Here are a few pics from a couple days before she was sold. Thanks again for all your help!

Looks like you both got a good deal - that boat looks in fantastic shape.

It's amazing how far some TLC goes. Just got my first boat (the 1953 Studebaker thread). Someday I'll graduate to something like this one. Very cool.
