i have a white wire on the s going back to the key then i have another white wire fron the t or i of the solenoid going back to the nuetral safety switch. looks like something else can be pluged to the nuetral switch. there are 2 slide connectors on the nuetral switch the wite wire is on that and the other one there is nothing. is something else supposed to be on it and are the 2 wires on the solenoid in the right spot or do they need to be switched.

thanks

Re: solenoid wireing

It actually makes no difference which white wire is on which terminal of the solenoid. That is, IF you have an OMC/BRP solenoid!! If you are trying to put an automotive solenoid in there, then that is a different story. In fact, it will burn up the safety switch.

As for the safety switch, the second terminal is just an extra one, don't worry about it. It is only there because they chose to use a stock switch with many potential applications.
