!971 Glastron 174 6cy 3 Solex carburetors leaking at the Banjo connections inlet at carburetors.
The boat has been stored in 2003 and I started to get it going in 2023. All the fuel lines from fuel pump to carburetor replaced for they just crumbled when handled along with fuel pump diaphragm
deteriorated. I had taken the carburetors apart and cleaned them up. Had engine running but now water pump leaking bad along with gas seeping at carburetors. I now drained all fuel and put boat in storage.
2025 getting boat ready to use but carburetors leaking and pump repaired . I can not locate the 2 aluminum washers that each Banjo bolt needs. I have tried making them with no luck, have called
Mikes Carburetor Parts in WA . No luck there either. Was told that once washers removed to replace with new ones for they will leak. Any ideas out there how to repair? or find the washers that I need?
Thanks to all who have responded to my old threads on this project, has helped.
