i have a glasstron with volvo penta aq125 i just had my solex carb rebuilt by xxxxx marine ($280.00) and i installed it also i installed eletronic ignition .i got it started but have to keep pumping the gas to keep it running its like its starving for gas i disconnected fuel line and cranked it and fuel was pumping out good so i think my fuel pump is good . anyone have any sugjestions ?

Did you reset the timing?

Did you adjust the idle mixture? that is something that can not be accurately adjusted by a rebuilder.

Next time look into rebuilding it yourself. That's a whole lot of dough to drop on something so simple.

And yes, adjust the idle mixture screw.

The electronic ignition kit can be off by as much as 30 degrees, so it needs to be set. And the carb may be rebuilt, but once on the boat you have to adjust the idle screw and mixture screw, and probably the accelerator pump adjustment nut too.

The manual has the starting spots listed for the idle and mix screws, adjust from there. The accelerator pump then needs to be adjusted so the motor doesn't die when you give it gas.
