SOLVED 1987 johnson 25 no power wot

wanted to post this so people dont spend as much money and have as many headaches as i did replaced powerpak coils timer plugs gas tank and lines rebuilt carb 4 times.... turned out to be the manual primer was leaking internally and flooding the engine. hope this helps some one i just bypassed it and she runs 100% now

Glad to hear!Love those 25HP engines!!Even if the bulb is leaking,I would have thought your float would prevent excess gas from coming into the carb?

Not the primer on the fuel line. The primer on the motor that is used for cold starts replaces the old style choke system. It injects fuel into the engine behind the carb, does not go through the carb bypasses it.
