Someone familiar with Mark Twain MTF 242 boats

I'd like to know if a Mark Twain MTF 242 has wood stringers and transom....and whether they have many problems with them. I am going to look at a boat 2.5 hours away...and am a little leary of the condition. Thanks in advance

It is a 1990...and I believe has only been in freshwater.
