Someone Stole My Battery

Kidding about the theft...just thought it would be an attention grabber.

Learning the wiring on my boat. In my center console I have found an extra battery wire with an orange wire attached. The cables disappear under the cc and have no idea where they go or come from. The only battery is in the transom with the cables coming off...one set to the motor, the other forward to the cc. Cannot find a battery switch either. Would appreciate any thoughts/ideas. Thanks!

maybe a second battery used specifically for electronics. looks like small cables. (too small for a motor, etc)

Does that orange wire have an inline fuse? If so, it could be for an accessory that was wired differently than the rest.

On my boat, I have the bilge pump wires thru a fuse directly to the battery. I also have a single switch for my stereo and GPS/FF. I purposely wired then thru a single switch so I could turn off one switch, however, I could see someone wiring them directly to the battery.

Well now I am really stumped. Still trying to figure out where the wires go or I guess more precisely, what it is meant to power. Everything on the boat is powered by the one battery in the transom. The only accessory I have is a GPS. Sort of worried about pulling the wires out in case I am missing something.
