Re: Sonos Speakers
Bruce....
I have quite a bit of experience with Sonos. In my opinion there is just nothing better out there if you are looking for a wireless solution. There are a few other solutions on the market now.....Pure, Bose, and Samsung are trying to get into that game. My understanding is that the Sonos had sole ownership of the patent for that technology and now is available for others.
I love the versatility of the system. A Sonos Playbar and 2 Play 1's can make for a pretty decent surround sound solution. Many people don't realize that Sonos can work that way. IF you put two speakers in a room, you can run them in stereo as well. I also like that you can use the amplified bridge to incorporate existing speakers.....since many of us have some really nice speakers already.
The Play Sub is really pretty amazing. You can stand a quarter on top of it or a glass of water (and see no ripples) when it is turned all the way up.
I have a Play 5 in the basement, Play 3 upstairs, and Play 1's in each bedroom.
