Caned? Lashes? Hard labor? Cutting off the offending finger that snapped the photo? Or maybe a pack of officials come out and break your camera like the wise guys in the Godfather do when the news reporters are taking pictures of the wedding...

The post and the thread are hilarious but,,, I once worked on a site in Columbia for a joint government (US / Columbia) installation and they were REAL serious about anyone taking photos of the construction. Just sayin...

Shucks, I've gone to jail for taking pictures in third world countries! They tried it seize my camera, etc. but where there is a will, often times there is a way ... Lost the pics, but kept the camera and my freedom! So, I do understand, Marco ...

believe it or not .....I was forbidden by a tour guide to take a photo at The General Jackson boat wheel in Nashville because the site is copywright and they want to make $40 for the photo besides the $200 for the 3hour cruise ........we came back later when nobody was around and took the photo anyways
