sorry keep messing up new to this, 84 omc 2.5 trouble ignore my other two this

i have a 1984 glasport with the omc 2.5 inboard, i was told it was a cobra 400 not sure on that, it had been sitting for two years and never ran, we took it out and it finally fired and ran pretty good, i am needing to change the oil all around i guess in the prop or lower unit and the motor, i guess i am meaning change all the fluids needed, but i dont know what type of oil or what all fluids needed to change, and i want to replace the spark plugs and wires any help really appreciated

First, get yourself a manual. Then change the engine oil and drive oil following the instructions in the manual. Check the plugs and if necessary replace with the recommended plugs for your engine.<br /><br />Also, if you have points and condensor, inspect and adjust if necessary.<br /><br />The list is much longer with a boat that you don't know what the owner did or didn't do. However, this is a good start.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply, i have called three boat places in the area and they all say it is almost impossible to find one, do you have any ideas on where to find a manual

Do a word search on the internet.You will find almost anything.I have a boat that no one ever heard of and have found everything that way.
