Sorry so slow

Was suppose to post pictures of the inside of my 73 cheiftain but haven't gotten to it yet. Did get the six started purrred like a kitten till I saw water drippling out from under the intake/exhaust. Pulled intake yup cracked block. Water in oil. Oh my. Well have been watching craigslist for a chevy 292 instead of the 250. I seem to have lucked out as far as the front mount goes. My block doesn't have the pigs ear on it. Looks like an omc 4cly sometimes six cly mount.
Works for me. Will try to get pics up asap but am splitting wood for the winter to come as well as work so I'm slow.

sorry to hear about that cracked block. that's a good idea on the displacement bump...hadn't thought of that.

gotta keep the priorities straight.....unless you can keep warm in the house, not much incentive to work on the boat.
