source for small amounts of cushion foam

I am doing a very small repair of some cushions. I am looking for the type of foam that is used on panel inserts, the foam appears to be about 3/8" - 5/8". The closest I can find is 1" and while I can cut that down it seems silly to do that if there is a good source to be found.

I have been scouring the web for a source. Any suggestions?

Also, do you have a recommendation on a specific adhesive product to bond that to wood?

Are you looking for an open-cell "cushy" foam (like inside a seat cushion), or a closed-cell "firm" foam (more like wood floor underlayment material)?

Either way, 3M 77 spray adhesive will glue it to wood.

I have bought foam from this place:
http://www.foamforyou.com/Open_Cell_Foam.htm

They will sell whole down to quarter-sheets, or custom cuts.

Their "Standard Medium" foam comes in 1/2", and is a typical 36 ILD (not too soft, not too firm) open-cell polyurethane foam. At only 1/2" thick, I wouldn't go any lower on ILD or it'll feel like a cotton ball.

Not sure where you live...we have a JoAnne's Fabrics close, they sell online too, but their store has upholstery supplies, including the marine vinyl.
