Sourcing Canvas Top or Top Pattern

Hi All,

I have a 1960 Cruisers Inc. Commander 17'. It came with the convertible top frame but not the canvas top itself. The top was made by Cruis-tops - see the image - which was a full length top, it had an extra frame to hold the far rear of the cover up at the same height as the front if you wanted. I doubt anyone has these tops, but does anyone know who might have the pattern inventory? I see Cruis-tops was bought in 1983 and then dropped off the face of the earth, but it wasn't soooo long ago that their inventory and files may still be around somewhere, and maybe someone knows where.

Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah, I'm a stickler for replication, was hoping to get an original pattern with the zip out windows and removable sections. A photo of the top would be great, but I can't seem to find any of them either, not of the full length sectional top, only the one where the rear panel sloped down to the engine.

NYC, I'm trying to find the same thing....wasn't a very helpful response...was it?....(I've had several unhelpful ayuhs myself...) They will make you one but you sure better be on the same page and make sure they know exactly what you are talking about...shape, length....attachment locations..etc. etc. etc. or you'll be out some serious dough. Even pictures of older "convertible" tops are not very easy to come by. If I find some good information I'll send it your way or post here.
