spark grounding to block

anyone ever had spark grounding to the block with all plug wires connected? I've got a 120 hp 90' force L-drive that runs fine most of the time, but occassionally I touch the block above the #1 plug, near the themo housing, and get shocked. It is also running a little sluggish when this happens, as 1 or more cylinder is not getting the spark. I'm wondering if it could be bad plug wires or ground problem in wiring or a bad coil.

Do fix this ASAP. It is gauranteed to wipe-out the switchbox HVCD or other components if not remedied. The way to find the problem is to run it with the cover off on a dark night, and actually look for the blue arc.
It may be a plug wire, plug, CD pack carbon path, or anywhere in the HVCD system.
Happy hunting, and pat yourself on the back for discovering a problem before it got expensive :D

I'll try that, I know it is intermittent though. Had it out today and seemed to be working, no shock. Yesterday I got shocked. I do get spark to all four plugs, at least when I'm checking.
