Spark Plug Question

The Marina gave me MR43 A/C plugs.
The Seloc book calls for MR44's.

I believe the only difference is heat range. According to Delco's website the second digit is the heat range, making the 44 a hotter plug than the 43.

My motor is an '82 3.8L. I noticed from '85 on, all the SBC engines use MR43.

Is this a big deal? I'm thinking not, but thought I'd throw it out for discussion.

Re: Spark Plug Question

Depends, how were your old plugs performing? (how did they look)

May have to wait and see how the new ones perform.
