Im replacing my wires and have read to use solid copper core. I could not find any so I picked up som Belden 7MM metalic cable. It looks like braided stainless, will this work?

Hi '61. yeah they should work. I guess SS is becoming more common, or even replacing copper. should help fight against corrosion too, i suppose. as long as it's metallic core and not automotive graphite wire, you should be fine.

.......be sure you TWIST the new wires onto the needle-like posts of the coils, rather than just jamming them on there. you'll be amazed at what new wires will do. good luck.
