Good Morning

Had a bit of an issue with my boat yesterday so this morning I decided to go down and check the plugs. These plugs were replaced in May and they look like this already. Thoughts? I have a carb rebuild kit coming this week, should I be concerned with anything else?

Well, it's a fuel delivery issue,......

If the rebuild don't fix it, either ya did it wrong, or there's a problem, with say, the fuel pump maybe,......

The possible causes are weak ignition and/or too rich carb. Often the air bleeds get clogged and make the mixture too rich, the needle valve rubber tip can wear and leak, the float can become porous and absorb gas and get heavy. Which engine/carb?

Thank you both. Looks like I’m on right track. It’s a 2008 4.3L Alpha One Gen II TKS.

this is my first rebuild for a carb so wish me luck

Also verify the enrichment valve on the TKS isn’t constantly dumping fuel in
