Just purchased first pontoon, nice little 18' Bass Buggy with 75 HP Mercury. We like to troll when we fish and was thinking about going one heat range hotter on plugs to eliminate some of the plug fouling associated with prolonged idle speed. One note.......I never operate boat while out on lake over 3800-3900 RPMs. Just seems to run best and gas mileage is better at this speed. So no worry with WOT burning holes in pistons. Any one see any problems with changing the plugs??

You should be able to get plugs at most auto parts stores.

You will need to know the year / serial / model #. Or if you post that info here someone may reply.

Good luck and I would not go to a hotter plug, but thats just me.
