Spark plugs, which is best for

1984 Merc blackmax 135hp motor. Which is the best plug for this motor. I want to carry spares and would like to know. Thanks Bob

My 81 black max 175 runs well on ngk's.

The plug for that motor is the NGK BU8H, which is a face firing plug. If you run much, then in the spring right after you burn out the fogging oil, change the plugs. Throw the best looking 2 used ones in your tackle box for spares. You'll probably never need them.

They only cost a coupla bucks apiece.
