Re: spark plugs

thmlrmg,

The big difference is about $9.90 a plug!!! LOL.

Personally I like Champion plugs. I'm sure the NGK plug is excellent. I'm guessing that it was developed specifically for outboard engines, thus the large price. Your Champion plugs probably work in other type engine, or possibly is specified for a greater number of engines, thus the low price.

I would buy the Champion plug if you got good service out of it in the past, and the heat range seemed OK.

Best Regards, Gold Bear ;)

Thm,

12 bucks a plug-sheesh. I wouldn't pay 12 bucks a plug if they were gold plated and had diamond encrusted electrodes.

Stick with the Champ's. You can replace them six times before you hit $12/each. And you won't have to.

Re: spark plugs

I would quit fishin at $12/plug. I went to NAPA and bought my NGK plugs for about 1/2 what the marine shop wanted. You might give this a try.
