What are the correct spark plugs for a 1963 40 hp Johnson outboard motor?<br /><br />Same question for a 1958 3 hp Johson<br /><br />Thanks <br /><br />Meaux

I have a 1960 40 hp johnson, the old plugs were<br />champion J4JM, there are now champion J4C, hope <br />this helps<br /> river run

Thanks River Run for the fast reply on the 40 hp.<br /><br />Is there any reason to use different plugs on the smaller engine i.e., 3 hp Johnson?<br /><br />Meaux
