I just bought an old 65 evinrude 40 hp, i already changed the oil in the foot, now i need to change the plugs, anyone know what the gap is for this particular motor. thanks for any help.
According to "The Old Outboard Book" by Peter Hunn, you should be using Champion J4C plugs (replacement for the old J4J gapped at .030. Hope that helps.<br />Adam
