what does mercury require for a sparkplug gap ?<br />I have a 2001 mercury 200 outboard, carb.<br />it is NOT the fuel injection, and not the optimax, not that it matters, but it might.
Dillweed,<br />Call a Merc Dealer. Give them your serial # and they'll tell you the gap. Try the NGK web site. Give the engine info and they'll recommend the spark plug and gap.
