sparkplugs ??

i have a 1996 johnson 60hp ( model # j60tledr) and the plugs in the motor are champion QL78YC but parts store does not have these. i've read that i can use champion QL77JC4 plugs. can i and whats the difference?? guy behind the counter has no clue !!

BRP/Evinrude lists both plugs for your engine with the QL77JC4 as optional, so there can't be much difference.
