Speaker placement in bow rider seat pods

Anybody place their speakers in the bases under the seats in a ski boat. I was thinking of replacing mind and installing new ones ( the back 2 of the set) in the back half of the back to back seat bases. Then running the wire through the base and over to the side compartments and to the radio. Any pics would be greatly appreciated. I think I saw a thread about this, but I can't find it now.

Here's what I got now. When I come in, I take and open all hatches and bays so that the boat can try out. Tilt the nose up and let drain.

So.....I take and decided to put the speakers in the boxes under the seat cause the ski locker is full and I have to put skies in the side compartments. That being said, I cant get skies in and out if I put the speakers in the back on each side. Here is what I start out with.

First off.... I cut the carpet and then I hole-sawed open the box. Then I took and picked out some of the foam so the speaker would fit.

The other side.......Then I took a paddle bit and ran it to the point where there was a split in the carpet. I pull up the carpet and will run the wire under the carpet. I used a piece of wire to pull the wire through the foam.
