Speaker placement in bow

I have a 1993 Playtime bowrider with the gas tank mounted in the bow. Does anyone know if there could be a potential problem with placing two speakers in the bow sides about a foot away from the tank?

The main concern I have is fuel vapors. After the boat has been covered It will have a gas smell for a couple of min. about it when first uncovered.Picture attached.
