Last time I posted I made an a** out myself insisting my engine was a 1979. Now that I have my facts straight I'm trying to find the O.E part # for the amplifier on a 1969 Evinrude 85hp electric shift
model #85993m.Mine still runs fine but some of the wires look questionable. Also curious what # the power tilt is as I'd like to add it. Saw one on ebay but it fit 68 and earlier. I don't remember who told me I was wrong on the year before so I'll just shut up and listen. Any info on the part #'s would be appreciated.

Great post Alden135. Funny! Please dont think youre the only one whos been there, done that.

I was talking to my buddy the other day who owns our old marina and he was showing me a trade in motor he was thinking about putting on his Mako. I was kinda surprised and asked him why he was putting a 25" motor on his 20" transom. He alsmost wanted to argue and then decided to go look. Oops!
