Just wanted to say that I sure do appreciate all of you! Being from Raystown Lake, PA, and having to spend time in Ghana, West Africa away from family and friends, you guys and gals add some sanity (?) to my life here. I am lookin' forward to headin' home next month, but will take you all with me!<br /><br />Thanks for the great threads, topics, posts, jokes, etc! When you are out in the village, with nothing around, you all give me another thing to look forward to, and that is a good thing! Didn't mean it to sound quite that way - that you were only good to look forward to when there was nothin' else around, but, like my hero - Carphunter - was gettin' all misty eyed! Thanks again! You brighten my day!

Raystown EH! I been meaning to make the trip over there and try and get me a big ole striper. Glad to hear you will be making the journey home soon, I hope it stops raining by the time you get back.

Yea, Raystown is a tough lake to fish - seems like two type of catchers - the ones that don't have the foggiest idea and stumble into the bigguns' (Stripper, bass, walleye, lake trout, or musky) and the ones that are on the lake 5 times a week that have the patterns down, etc. Tough for the occassional weekend warrior to make a haul, but it can be done, and the beauty of the lake is worth it even if you do get shut out!

Hey aspeck, all joking aside, have a safe journey home. I am sure your family and friends miss you as much as you miss them. Should be a great homecoming. <br /><br />P.S. I think you need to pick another hero,....my Superman tights don't seem to fit the way they used to.

Ahh Carpy, you are such a good hero, because the sights are not set to high and it is easily attainable! <br /><br />Just kiddin'! And having some fun to while away my last month! I feel like a kid in school counting down the days - only 34 more!
